Create a One-Stop Help Centre for Government Services
Many citizens are eligible for government schemes and public services but struggle to understand which scheme they qualify for, what documents are required and where to apply. Create a local one-stop help centre where citizens can receive information and assistance for government schemes, pensions, scholarships, certificates, welfare programmes and other public services. The centre should help citizens understand eligibility, required documents, application procedures and application status. Assistance should be available in the local language and should particularly support senior citizens, women, persons with disabilities and people who are not comfortable using online services.
What success looks like
Make government services easier to access and reduce confusion, unnecessary visits and dependence on intermediaries. Citizens should be able to understand what they are eligible for and how to access services through one accessible local support point.
